HNIRC Accredited Qualifier to Championship of Champions

Event Information

•4 Horse Team Relay, 1 mile track split into ½ mile. Start of each race with Mugger and rider on Ground. Standing start

•First paid 12 teams. HNIRC members only teams to qualify for championship races in September.

•Entry Fees taken by Calvin Ghost Bear/HNIRC. Go to horsenationsindianrelay.com

•Entry fees $300, Saturday trials $4,000 added(above entry fee purse). Sunday Championship Purse $12,000 total for two day $16,000 Championship wins buckles

•All Horses need health with Coggins and Piroplasmosis neg. test. REQUIRED by Wyoming Gaming Commission.

•Teams advised to come into Wyoming Downs Barn area Friday, July 28th. Corrals are available in arena and limited stalls will be available. Barns are full of recognized pari-mutuel race horses. There will be grass hay available for incoming teams. All teams will get a wrist band to go into secured Horsemen area and will be able to attend pari-mutuel Races free of charge both race days.

•Teams will run for entry fees and added money on Saturday, July 29th Horsemen’s Appreciation BBQ after races.

•Championship, Consolation, & Runner-Up Consolation Sunday, July 30th will run immediately after races $12,000.

•Arena available for warm-up. To be determined if relay horses can exercise on recognized track after track closes at 10:00pm Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
